Development of a Python user interface

We are looking for

• an intern for the development of a Python user interface for an optimization engine. The duration of the internship is between 4 and 6 months.

You are

• Studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or computer science
• Always interested in new challenges
• Team oriented and you want to contribute and implement your own ideas

The goal of the internship

is the development of a Python user interface for an optimization engine. The engine's functionality is available via a C++ API.

The envisioned Python interface should, on one hand, give Python applications access to the optimization engine. A possibility should also be created which will allow Python code to be executed directly from the optimization engine.

Required are

good knowledge of C++ and Python as well programming and modeling with JavaScript and XML. Besides good communication and teamwork skills, you should have organizational skills and good knowledge of the English language.
