After graduating from electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Benno Ziller worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA where he participated in several large software design projects. He left IPA in 1997 to become one of the founding members of flexis GmbH.

He first participated in the development and implementation of software projects. Due to the constant growth of the company, Benno Ziller started taking on more organizational duties, as well as the responsibility of business administration.

Since 2000, Benno Ziller is part of the management team of flexis AG. As CFO of the company he is responsible for finance, legal and human resource portfolios.
